Technical Support & Customer Service

Job description

The Technical Support & Customer Service is responsible for provisioning the products and providing technical assistance to end users, answering questions or resolving product problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote location. He is also responsible for managing the installation through 3rd party installer (Car electricians) network of GPS device installers in his region. The Technical Support & Customer Service reports to the Country Manager.

Task and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the after sales support to clients and dealers that use the company product
  • Responsible for managing 3rd party GPS Device installers (car electricians)
  • Executes preparation of orders and products that are shipped to dealers and clients independently.
  • Reviews product returns, repairs and analysis
  • Utilizes the support issue ticketing system, helps customers through online chat and on the phone.
  • Provides structural input for and maintains online Database and Website.
  • IT and Network Support if needed.
  • Provision the products and make it ready for installation.
  • Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems of “Location Solutions” products.
  • Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
  • Develop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
  • Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.               


    The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:   
  • 2-3  years in experience in IT
  • Bachelors degree or Demonstrated skills that can make up for education level
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with other employees
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
  • Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
  • Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
  • Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Fully knowledgeable with English speaking and writing.

Sales and Marketing Assistant

Job description

The sales and marketing assistant provides support to the sales and marketing department

Candidate profile

  • Fluency in English and Arabic is compulsory, French is an advantage
  • Educational requirements: Bachelor degree in Marketing or Business
  • Years of experience: 1 – 2 years

 Candidate skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative and strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Superior time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Creative, organized and willing to learn new skills
  • Knowledgeable in: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Graphic designer experience with Photoshop, Adobe premiere, Flash Professional CC, InDesign, QuarkXPress, Dreamweaver is a benefit  
  • Experience using mailing software such as Mailchimp/Sendgrid is a plus
  • Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce/Zoho is a plus

The duties of a sales and marketing associate will be divided between several departments, and involve a range of tasks, related to sales, marketing and account management.

Marketing duties:

  • SMM activities: manages company Google AdWords account, posts on Twitter, corporate YouTube Channel, LinkedIn page
  • Generates a content plan for company publications, ensures that all agreed deadlines are duly met
  • Prepares newsletters and press releases to be shared with customer database of Location Solutions
  • Creates a media list and maintain good relationship with media representatives
  • Coordinates between sales, finance, technical and marketing department
  • Expected to help in drafting and preparing product brochures
  • Maintain up-to-date mailing lists (clients and prospects), marketing suppliers/contractors’ lists and training manuals and proper filing.
  • Maintain minimum stock level of marketing materials, gather quotations for new marketing materials requirements, follows up on delivery schedules as per Location Solutions standards
  • Assist in preparations for exhibitions/conferences: booth setup, communication with organizers
  • Provides basic SEO support of the website (Google analytics/metrics analysis and presentation to the management)
  • Helps in managing the content of the website
  • Copywriting: drafts and arranges articles for website publications, press-releases for the media

Sales duties:

  • Engages in pre-sales activities, cold-calling, attend to sales calls , follows up for sales prospects, distributes the prospects among the specialized sales personnel, schedules appointments and meetings as necessary
  • Expected to prepare tailored sales presentations based on sales team request, assist in drafting proposals and preparing quotations as per customer needs
  • Manages daily administrative tasks related to the sales department
  • Supplies management with reports on sales, customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Demonstrates good knowledge of location solutions products and services

Research and analysis:

  • Researches client base for potential leads
  • Analyzes and creates a plan for expanding to new markets and industries
  • Analyzes the competition to create a plan for engagement
